Limitless Graphene Energy
LIMITLESS GRAPHENE ENERGY
Scientists call Graphene the Magic Material. So there are lot of things that can be done with Graphene. So today we are going to look at a new work that can be done with Graphene.
Graphene is made of carbon. There are three bonds around this carbon atom. Then this carbon atom will be able to form an array. So for this reason the thickness of graphene is only one carbon atom. But Graphene is still very strong, transparent, and a very good conductor of electricity. Using Graphene we can do a wonderful job.
When there is a certain temperature, there is a certain motion in every molecule and atom. This is called Thermal Motion. So if we reduce this temperature to absolute zero, the motion of this atom disappears completely. That's when we can watch special occasions like Super Fluid. So the thickness of this graphene sheet is only one atom. When this graphene sheet is free you can see the movement of it. So the scientist was able to find that as the graphene sheet moves, it converges at one time and concaves at another.
Over the years, a team of researchers at the University of Arkansas have tried to convert the thermal motion of the graphene into electricity, and they have had to do a lot of testing. In this experiment, they took two electrodes and placed a graphene sheet in the middle of it. Then it starts going up and down due to the thermal motion in the graphene sheet. In this way, when the graphene sheet goes up and down, if it has a negative charge, it can push the electrons inside the electrode up and down. That means make an AC current. Also, the researchers realized that the thermal motion of the Graphene Sheet increased significantly with room temperature.
So they made a small circuit( Watch the video 👆) using the thermal motion in the Graphene Sheet to generate electricity. So they made a small circuit using the thermal motion in the Graphene Sheet to generate electricity. That circuit was able to work very successfully. The idea that electricity can be created by the thermal motion of an atom in this way is very old. This was first introduced around 1950. But so far I have not been able to do this work in practice. At the moment we have a graphene circuit, which can also generate electricity.
SO WHAT CAN WE DO NEXT?
The Graphene Sheet that generates electricity in this way is a very small one. If we take the head of a needle, we can put 20,000 circuits like this on that head. Again we can generate about 10 micro volts of electricity. From this Graphene Circuit we can make AC current. So these researchers have been able to use a diode and a capacitor to convert my AC current to DC current.
